As Pastoral Counselors- we integrate Christian Counseling and Biblical Counseling with proven psychological theories. With the Christian Counseling approach, our aim is to help Christians regain a sense of hope for their life that is found in Jesus Christ. With Christian Counseling, we will come alongside a Christian to hear their story and help them with the burdens of life (Galatians 6:2).  With the Biblical Counseling approach, we will use scripture and biblical principles to help you deal with life's challenges. We believe that scripture is valuable for teaching truth, rebuking error, correcting faults, and giving instruction for right living (2 Timothy 3:16).  Pastoral Counseling combines the Christian faith with psychological teachings in an effort to address the issues of life. Pastoral Counseling puts into practice the relationship between life and faith, by using both psychological and theological resources within the counseling setting - which you will receive at Good News Counseling, Inc. 

Note:   The term Pastoral Counseling does not refer to being a "Pastor" of a church, but is to be used in the reference to "Pastoral" in care only. The meaning for "Pastoral" as it relates to counseling is defined above.

Good News Counseling provides Pastoral Counseling in areas of: Pre-Marital and Marital Counseling, Individual and Family Counseling, Post Traumatic Stress, Grief/Loss, Relational Conflict, Anger Management, and Spiritual Decision Making.

Good News Counseling does not accept medical insurance, Medicare or Medicaid. An affordable flat fee will be charged per session. We accept cash or checks for payment at the time of each session. Partnerships with local churches may provide assistance with fees.
